Network coverage
Tip: Excellent 4G/5G coverage across Ljubljana and all major tourist areas including Lake Bled and Piran; Triglav National Park mountain trails have variable signal above the treeline—download maps before hiking.
Where coverage thins out: Lake Bled is extremely crowded in peak summer; Triglav summit requires mountaineering experience; Adriatic coastline is very short (only 46km) and beach space limited.
When to go and where
Travel season
May to September
June–August is peak season but very busy at Bled. May and September are ideal—good weather and fewer crowds. Skiing at Kranjska Gora is excellent December–March.
