Find and compare travel eSIM data plans for 190+ countries and regions, and get a checkout link — without leaving your conversation with Claude.

What it does

The eSIM Finder connector gives Claude access to the eSIM Finder travel catalog. Ask Claude about travel data for any destination and it can search live plans, compare data allowances and prices in your currency, explain plan types, and hand you a link to buy the one you pick. The connector is read-only and anonymous — no account, no sign-up, and it never sees your name, email, or conversation history.

Purchases are completed on our partner’s store; eSIM Finder does not take payments.

Tools

The connector exposes five tools:

• List supported countries — returns the full list of destinations (single countries, regional bundles, and the annual Travel Pass).
• Search eSIM plans — finds plans for a destination, optionally filtered by minimum data or validity, with prices in your chosen currency.
• Get plan details — returns full details for one specific plan (data, validity, price, plan type).
• Create checkout link — generates a link to purchase a specific plan in a chosen currency.
• Get eSIM Finder info — answers product questions: FAQ, Travel Pass, device compatibility, regional coverage, plan tiers, and an overview.

Prices reflect the most recent catalog sync and may differ slightly from the final price shown at checkout (for example due to currency conversion or taxes). All plans support 40 currencies; the default is USD.

How to connect

1. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Enter the connector URL: https://mcp.esimfinder.io/api/v1/mcp
3. Claude opens a consent screen. Click Allow. (Authentication uses the OAuth 2.1 standard; the connection is anonymous.)
4. Start asking — for example, “Show me 5 GB eSIM plans for Italy in EUR.”

Supported scope

• Destinations: 190+ countries and regions, plus regional bundles and an annual Travel Pass covering ~130 destinations.
• Currencies: 40 (default USD).
• Capabilities: read-only discovery and checkout-link generation. No purchases, payments, or account changes happen inside the connector.

Known limitation

If you used an earlier version of this connector before OAuth was required, your cached connection may not upgrade automatically. If the connector stops responding, remove it and add it again using the URL above — this re-runs the one-time authorization.
