Privacy Policy

Effective date: 3 June 2026 (update to the actual publication date if later)

eSIM Finder is an intermediary for the services of external contractors providing eSIM services. eSIM Finder (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile application, our website (esimfinder.io), and our Claude connector (“the connector”).

Personal Information

We do not collect or store traditional personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or payment data. Payments for eSIMs are never processed by us — they are handled entirely by our third-party partner at checkout (see “External Services” below).

Mobile App and Website — Analytics

On our mobile application and website we use Google Analytics, a third-party analytics tool provided by Google. We may collect non-personal, anonymized data such as:

  • App and website usage data (e.g. screens visited, time spent)
  • Device type and operating system
  • Country or region (approximate, based on IP)
  • App crashes and performance metrics
  • Events and user actions (e.g. tapping on eSIM offers or filters)

Google Analytics may use technical or analytical cookies. For more information, please see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Claude Connector (Model Context Protocol)

The connector lets you discover and compare travel eSIM plans, and generate checkout links, directly inside a conversation with Claude. It is an anonymous service — it does not require an account, a username, or a password, and it does not receive your name, email, or any identity from Claude.

What the connector collects:

  • Approximate country. We collect your approximate country (ISO code, derived from your IP by Cloudflare at OAuth consent time) for product analytics. No precise location, no raw IP, no continuous tracking.
  • Functional request data. When a tool is used, we log the type of request (for example a plan search or a checkout-link generation), the destination country and currency you searched for, and the eSIM product identifier — so we can operate, debug, and improve the service. These records are not linked to any personal identity.

What the connector never collects or stores: your name or contact details, your raw IP address, your authorization tokens, your conversation with Claude, or any files, chat history, or memory from Claude. The connector reads only the catalog and request parameters needed to answer your query.

Authentication data. Connecting the connector uses the OAuth 2.1 standard. We process short-lived technical tokens solely to keep your session authorized; we do not use them to identify you personally.

How We Use Data

We use the limited data above to operate the connector, app, and website, to keep them secure, to prevent abuse, and to understand aggregate, anonymized usage (for example, which destinations are most requested). We do not use it to build personal profiles or to advertise to you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for their own marketing. Anonymous analytics data is processed by service providers (Google for the app/website; Cloudflare for edge delivery and the approximate-country signal) under their respective data-protection terms. When you choose to proceed to a purchase, you are redirected to our eSIM partner’s store (see “External Services”).

Data Retention

We retain connector request logs only for as long as necessary for product analytics, security, and abuse prevention, and we periodically delete older records. Technical authentication records are short-lived and are removed after the corresponding session credentials expire. We do not retain any personal user information, because we do not collect it.

Your Rights

While we do not collect traditional personal data, we are committed to upholding your rights under applicable data-protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The lawful basis for processing the approximate-country signal and request logs is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service. To exercise any right or ask a question, contact [email protected].

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect technical data against unauthorized access or disclosure, including HTTPS-only transport, edge protection, and least-privilege database access.

Cookies

Our website uses technical and functional cookies to ensure proper functioning, and analytical cookies via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. For more information see https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/11397207. You can deactivate or delete cookies in your browser’s settings; some website functionality may then be unavailable. The connector itself does not use cookies.

External Services

When you choose to buy an eSIM — by tapping “Buy Now” in our app, or by opening a checkout link generated by the connector — you are redirected to our partner’s website (operated via breezesim.com / Shopify) to complete and pay for your purchase. Once you leave our service, you are subject to that third party’s privacy policy and terms. We recommend reviewing them before providing any information. We do not receive or store your payment details.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. The latest version will always be available at this URL with an updated effective date.
