Frequently asked questions
No—US citizens do not need a passport to visit the USVI. A government-issued ID is sufficient. Non-US citizens need a valid passport.
Trunk Bay on St. John is consistently rated the USVI's—and one of the Caribbean's—best beaches. Its underwater snorkel trail through the national park is a highlight. Cinnamon Bay is equally beautiful and less crowded.
