Network coverage
Tip: 4G is excellent across Finland including most of Lapland. Very remote wilderness areas (Urho Kekkonen National Park backcountry) can drop signal — download offline maps for serious trekking.

When to go and where

Midnight sun (late May–July) means no darkness — blackout curtains in accommodation are essential. Polar night (kaamos) in Lapland (November–January) means no sun above the horizon.
