🇧🇴 Bolivia eSIM
Bolivia is South America's most extraordinary altitude adventure — the world's highest capital (La Paz at 3,640m), the world's largest salt flat (Salar de Uyuni, 10,582 sq km of blinding white), the ancient Tiwanaku civilisation, the Amazon basin jungle, and flamingo-flecked high-altitude lagoons that seem plucked from another planet. The Bolivian altiplano is one of Earth's most photogenic landscapes, particularly at sunrise and sunset when the salt flat becomes a perfect mirror. La Paz's thrilling cable car network, bustling Witches' Market, and extraordinary Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley) on its outskirts make it one of South America's most compelling cities.

Frequently asked questions
Dry season (May–October) for classic white salt crust and easy driving. Wet season (December–March) creates the famous mirror effect when a thin layer of water reflects the sky — stunning for photography but requires a different tour format.
Arrive and rest for at least 24–48 hours before any physical activity. Drink coca tea (widely available), stay hydrated, avoid alcohol, and eat lightly. Most visitors acclimatise within a day or two.
Uyuni town has coverage. The salt flat itself has virtually no towers — you are offline in the middle. Download offline maps and content before your tour departs.
It's possible but a waste — the magic is staying overnight on the salt flat to see sunrise and the star-filled sky. Multi-day tours (3 days is standard) also include the coloured lagoons and geysers of the Bolivian altiplano.
